Il progetto, coordinato dall'Associazione "Terepia, il teatro di figura" e che ha coinvolto anche l'Associazione Italia - Armenia e l'Associazione Casa di Cristallo,ha portato alla realizzazione di una favola musicale il cui testo è stato scritto da Isabella Vettorel e le cui musiche sono state composte da Claudio Fanton per sestetto di fiati (quintetto di fiati e controfagotto).
La favola “Vita da Lupi”, con il suo simpatico lupo in crisi di identità e la combriccola di personaggi che attorno a lui ruotano, riporta lo spettatore all'incanto delle visioni infantili attraverso un percorso di illusioni figurative e di insegnamenti morali in cui l'Arte diventa scelta di vita per combattere convinzioni e pregiudizi.
The musicians of the “I Cinque Elementi” Wind Ensemble (the five elements wind Ensemble) are the solo players of the “Civica Orchestra di Fiati di Padova” (Wind Orchestra of Padua, Italy).
The members of this ensemble are joined not only by a strong interest for chamber music, but also by the wish to discover new repertories.
The musicians of the group have attended the masterclasses of famous teachers and concert artists and have won the first prize of important musical contests as soloists or as members of chamber ensembles. They play with famous orchestras like Venice's “Orchestra del Teatro la Fenice” and Ferrara's “Orchestra del Teatro Comunale”, l'Aquila's “Orchestra Città Aperta”.
“I Cinque Elementi” Wind Ensemble gave its first performance during the International Summer Festival in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany) where it obtained the warm approval of public and critics.
In early 2010 the Ensemble has received another important recognition: the artistic director of the Festival "Rencontres Musicales Internationales des Graves" (Bordeaux, France) - the previous editions of the festival hosted famous artists such as Mstislav Rostropovich, Maxim Vengerov, Didier Lockwood, Zacharia Zorin and the String Quartet "Quatuor Parker” - asked “I Cinque Elementi” Wind Ensemble to perform in a series of concerts and teach students who attend the festival master classes.
The repertory consists not only of original music for wind ensmble, but also of arrangements of symphonies and overtures of composers of the classical age and of the 1900s, some of them have been arranged by Claudio Fanton.
“I Cinque Elementi” Wind Ensemble recorded "The pleasure of playing" musical production and collaborated to "Mozart in love" compilation; these "Fenice classical" label record productions are avaiable on iTunes.
